For my documentary series I decided to capture what I think of as "Abandonment of the senses". In the images I took, I sensed abandonment in some fashion; whether it physically LOOKED like abandonment or FELT like abandonment. Something I feel adds to this, is the choice I made to make my photos black and white. Before hand each of these photos contained some general use of color, however, I feel that it took away from the general feel. In most of these photos, there is a grunge to them. For example in the first image, the building is obviously old and run down. In images 5 and 6 the original image contained rust on the objects.
